British International Helicopters

I am finally allowed to show the world the work I created for British International Helicopters. Two great days photographing their new Air Sea Rescue helicopters, located in Newquay but destined for the Falklands.

It was a great shoot and a marvellous experience. I got to hang out of a flying helicopter photographing another helicopter 70ft below, all flying over the sea. I did have a harness and a very capable team looking after me. It was pretty exciting. The shoot was over two days, the first being very foggy, so we worked around the hanger and photographed the engineers doing routine work. The second day we had near perfect conditions, that was the day we got to fly.

The photographs are being used for publicity, web and print.

It was a great experience, working with a great team of people doing something different. Bring on the next one!
