Caterlink

Caterlink – Anthony Greenwood Photography

Working with the fantastic Helen Stephens as art director (Absolute Design), we popped over to Caterlink to do a couple of shots for their catalogue update. Now I don’t know if you know, but Caterlink service the nations ice cream providers with everything that they could need and a whole lot more. Including chocolate sprinkles, chocolate shavings, chocolate drops, chocolate chunks, chocolate sauce, chocolate waffle cones, you get my drift and that’s just the chocolate.

Well aside from all those lovely goodies, Caterlink have an ice cream parlour (is this sounding interesting now). Now this parlour has the capabilities (when driven by the right hands) to output any flavoured ice cream your heart could desire, with any combination of chunks, nuts and sauces. Eat your heart out Chunky Monkey. In our case the mechanics was driven by Josef Boni, Caterlinks Technical Director. Josef conjured up six bowls (large) of various flavoured ice cream, which Helen and I put to good use in front of the camera.

I thoroughly enjoyable the day with the team at Caterlink, I learnt a lot about the business of ice cream and even took a doggy bag home for the kids.

Shot with a Nikon D700 and 135mm lens and studio lighting. The camera was linked direct to the laptop for full client involvement throughout the shoot.
